Leading the Way 2016

The English Language Center of Drexel University is pleased to welcome students from Pontifica Universidad Católica de Chile for five weeks of English language instruction, leadership skills development, and an introduction to U.S. culture, which includes cultural trips and activities with students at the ELC.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

All students will attend morning classes in listening, speaking, writing and grammar skills. They will be placed with other Intensive English Program students in these courses based on initial placement tests given before the students' arrival.

During the afternoon class time, students will attend a program-exclusive course in reading and vocabulary with a focus on leadership development, including guest lectures on leadership topics. The students will meet with the program coordinator once a week to debrief about their experiences and prepare for the upcoming week's activities.

Students will be able to sign up for optional tutoring on their own or as instructors recommend.
